Silent No More Minnesota event
Duluth, MN September 26 2003
For weeks I had been praying for good weather
for our Duluth event. On September 25th, 2003 I watched the weather
broadcast with great anticipation. Minneapolis was suppose to experience
sprinkles while Duluth was going have 40% chance of rain, windy and cold.
It did not look good. I told everyone to wear rain gear and dress warm.
When we left Minneapolis the rain was pouring down. Everyone was wearing
winter coats, hats, gloves and sweaters. As we drove up Hwy 35 north the
rain stopped, little patches of blue sky would open up. There were still
grey clouds with the threat of rain in them. When we arrived in Duluth
everyone started taking off their coats. We started right at 3:00pm and for
an hour we sat under a strip of blue sky while the clouds separated and went
around us. The sun shone so brightly and felt so wonderfully warm. Then
about 4 minutes after we ended the event dark clouds rolled in, the wind
picked up, the cold embraced us and a clap of thunder was heard. It was a
good glorious God day.
